Strange and Funny Information Signs
Welcome to the world of strange and funny information signs. Most signs are there to make the world safer, help you find your way and keep you out of trouble. But not all. Some information signs are just downright odd, strange of funny. Here are some of our favourites along with our take on them:
Staff at the wildlife park put this sign up after a couple of tragic incidents resulting in the local newspaper (and presumably the crocodiles) referring to the spot “meals on wheels”. Please do not get distracted when pushing wheelchairs along the banks of the crocodile infested river.
Someone just had to try it didn’t they. If it had mentioned crocodiles in the water someone would still have a go just to prove they can.
With the sheer numbers arriving to use it as a stag do destination, these signs have been put up in the most popular parts of the Czech Republic to remind the locals not to trip over the drunk English tourists.
After being flattened so many times by drivers attending the Blind Parking Rehabilitation Centre in Squint Creek, Oregon, a new sign has been erected but hanging between the much more sturdy trees.
Russian officials at the famous Black Sea holiday resort of Novishitindumpistok have banned residents from washing their dogs on the beach. They fear that the scrubbing down of our canine friends would detract from the endless feet of golden sandy beaches and harm the local tourist trade. Novishitindumpistok receives at least three foreign visitors a year making it a lucrative source of hard western currency for the crumbling Russian economy.
Hey! You with the gun. Haven’t you read the sign, can’t you read? Distinctly says “No target shooting” Are you stupid or something?
A reminder to all drivers that moose are big. Really big. If you drive into a moose, there’s a good chance that you will come off worse and you will need to call a towing service. The moose might have a headache. The lesson to be learned here is that you should not drive into a moose. Hope that’s clear.
